Robert E. Anthony, born November 13, 1948 was called to Heaven on July 4, 2023 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was self-employed, working as a barber for over 30 years until retirement. Robert is preceded in death by his loving wife of 30 years, Peggy L. Anthony, parents Robert E. Anthony and Margaret Anthony, sisters Kathy Anthony and Barbara Mitchell, brother John (Vicki) Anthony, dear friend George (Carrol) Shaw. Survived by his children Robert E. Anthony III (Shannon) and Summer Anthony, grandchildren Tyler Anthony, Brooklyn Anthony, Mallory Wiles and Sidney Wiles, brothers Frank (Linda) Anthony, David (Kathy) Anthony, Fred Anthony, and Ed (Karen) Anthony, life-long friend David (Carol) Flowers and loving girlfriend Sharon Terry. Visitation will be 12-2 pm on Friday, July 7 at the O.R Woodyard Co. Chapel, 1346 S. High St. with funeral services immediately following at Fernwood Cemetery. Dad will be forever in our hearts and loved infinity. He has gained his angel wings and is now reunited with Mom. Know this world will never be the same without you in it.
