Robert Dwayne "Bob" Hubbs
July 5, 1963 – October 17, 2026
Robert Dwayne Hubbs, known to everyone as Bob or Bobby, passed away on October 17, 2026, at the age of 63. If you knew Bob, you knew he loved living life wide open.
Bob grew up in the Valley of Groveport and spent his younger days running the streets of South Columbus where he made his living as a welder / fabricator and later as a home remodeler.
If it had a motor, Bob was into it. Motocross was his true passion, with cars and football close behind. He also had expensive taste. He always bought the best of the best, every time. Cheaping out was never an option.
He was loud, stubborn, and always one of the coolest dudes in the room, but above all he was a family man. He loved his boys with everything he had, and he was always the first to show up when someone needed help. People will remember his compassion, his sense of humor, and how he'd drop whatever he was doing to lend a hand if he could.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Delmar Dean Hubbs and Joyce Hubbs, and his brother, Tim Hubbs. He leaves behind his sons, Mitchell Hubbs and Joshua Hubbs, and his grandson, Cayson Hubbs. His brother Greggory Hubbs, and sisters Kym Lovell, and Sherre Grosshart.
Services will be held at O.R. Woodyard Funeral Home on South High Street, followed by burial at Asbury Cemetery. The funeral will be 1:00pm on October 27th, 2026. Showing will be from 11am-1pm.
Ride on, Buddy. Fly high.
