Robert "Bob" J. Hoover, age 77, joined the love of his life Terry J. Hoover in heaven on November 19, 2022. Born February 23, 1945, in Columbus, Ohio to the late Kermit and Ruth (Waters) Hoover. Bob retired from Ricart Automotive parts Department after many years and multiple owners. Bob cherished his family and the friendships he built over the years at his favorite restaurant. He enjoyed gardening and flowers of all kinds. Preceded in death by his loving wife Terry Hoover of 45 years, parents, Kermit and Ruth Hoover; brothers, Duke Hoover and Ken Hoover; grandchildren, Buzzy Wolfe and Taylor Wolfe. He will be greatly missed by his surviving family, brother, Ron (Janet) Hoover; son, Kurtis (Aarika) Hoover; godson, Gilbert "Buzz" (Ronda) Wolfe; grandchildren, Jordan Hoover, Jaimee Hoover, Alec Evans, Christopher Harris, Kyle Harris, Shad (Sierra) Wolfe and Mark (Danielle) Banks, numerous nieces, nephews and countless friends. Visitation will be Sunday, November 27, 2022, from 2-5 p.m. at the O.R. Woodyard Co. South Chapel 1346 S. High St. in Columbus where funeral service will be Monday, November 28, 2022, at 1 p.m. Rev. Cheryl Ellis-Hoover officiating. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Columbus, OH.
