Robert R. Shirkey, age 52, passed away Friday, February 16, 2024 after a lengthy illness. U S Navy Veteran. He loved spending time with his family and fishing and hunting. He was preceded in death by his father, Lowell Shirkey Jr. and his grandparents, Reverend Lowell Shirkey Sr. and Francis Shirkey. Robert is survived by mother, Drenda Shirkey; wife, Tammy Shirkey; 3 children, Zack Shirkey, Nathan Shirkey (Kimber Woodford) and Tiffany (Jacob) Bowels; granddaughter, Faith Shirkey; 3 sisters, Kathy (Robin) McDole, Candy (Timmie) McGlone and Sherri (Rusty) Brock; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Friends may call at the O. R. WOODYARD COMPANY CHAPEL 1346 S. High Street on Tuesday, February 20th from 5 pm until time of the service at 7 pm.
