Obituary

Robert Talbot, born on December 25, 1964, in East Liverpool, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on April 14, 2025. He was the beloved husband of Lore Talbot, a steadfast and dedicated father to their two girls, Candace Robinson and Kara Brown, a loving grandfather to six grandchildren, and a friend to many.

Bob was a sweet and quiet man who projected positivity  and gentleness into the lives of everyone he met.  His passing leaves a deep and lasting rift in the hearts of his family and friends. He was a good man who treated everyone around him with love, kindness, and deep humility. Though he has passed on to the reward that waits for those who know Christ, the world is less rich without him in it.

Bob worked for many years for AT&T in a variety of roles. He enjoyed spending time with his family.  He was a man of many unusual and surprising talents: among them, he was a highly skilled craftsman, carpenter, and woodworker, skills he often employed on behalf of his family and friends (sometimes while comically complaining about it!).  He was helpful and kind and good, and his life made an impact on everyone who knew him.  Though Bob was a reserved and quiet man, he lived out through his charity and generosity the mission of spreading Christ's kingdom.

He is survived by his wife, Lore, his mother, Cathy, his brother Brian, and his sister Cassie.  He was predeceased by his father, Robert Jr. Talbot. He also leaves behind his daughters, Candace and Kara (Kevin), his grandchildren (Makayla and Kylee Robinson; Ava, Meelah, Sophia, and Travis Brown) and many loving family and friends.

The inurnment ceremony will be limited to invited family. Final arrangements entrusted to the MYERS-WOODYARD FUNERAL HOME, Groveport, OH.
