Robert S. Wagoner, 82, passed away Sunday, January 22, 2017. Born February 7, 1934 in Columbus, OH to the late Harry A. and Helen L. (nee Robinson) Wagoner. He is preceded in death by wife of 33 years, Rita A. (nee Duckworth); brother, Harry R. (Lottie); sister, Virginia (Jack) McPeek; and brother-in-law, Tom Duckworth. He will be greatly missed by son, Larry (Kelly) Wagoner, daughters, Kathleen Wagoner and Sheryl (Chad) Braithwaite; grandchildren, Erin, Ryan, and Ashley Wagoner; companion and best friend, Judy Reckner; sister-in-law, Karen (Terry) Burns, brother-in-law, Terry (Melissa) Duckworth; many nieces and nephews, and the Reckner Family. Bob grew up on E. Whittier St and was a graduate of South High School Class of 1954. He served in the US Army from Oct. 1954 to Sept. 1956, spending 18 months in Germany. He was a member of the VFW Post in Millersport, Ohio. Bob retired from South-Western City Schools in 1999. He was a charter member of the Brother's Club and loved playing cards. A gathering of family and friends will be held Friday, January 27 from 4 to 7 pm at O. R. WOODYARD SOUTH CHAPEL 1346 S. High St. Private family inurnment at a later date.
