Robert W. Young III "Bobby", age 58, passed away too soon on May 16, 2026. Born on October 4, 1967 in Columbus, Ohio to Robert and Sherry Young. He attended Westland High School and played football as a starter all four years. Bobby worked as a Corrections Officer for the State of Ohio, retiring after 32 years of service in 2022. Bobby and Maria Silvestri shared 22 wonderful years together.

He was an avid bowler, on the team with his parents, Robert and Althea, winning the League Championship 3 weeks ago. Bobby was a complex individual who loved to travel, loved the ocean, loved his family, and gave his all to his wife, Maria.

Bobby is preceded in death by his beloved mother, Sherry Lynn Young; daughter, Hailey Young; sister, Melissa Young.

Bobby is survived by his wife, Maria Silvestri; his parents, Robert (Althea)Young, Jr.; his children, Robert (Nina) and Joey Young; his grandchildren, Robert, Hailey, and Thomas; his sister, Michelle Young; as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation will be held Monday, May 25, 2026, from 5:00 - 7:00 pm at Pfeifer Woodyard Funeral Home, in Reynoldsburg, Ohio. Service follows at 7:00 pm, with Pastor Michael Brue officiating.
