Ronald Justice Beaton, age 76, died peacefully on Saturday, February 1, 2020 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. Born in Newark, New Jersey to Barbara Justice Beaton and Daniel Harper Beaton on September 7, 1943, he was raised in Parkersburg, West Virginia. Ronald began his college career at Princeton University, then completed his degree at Marietta College. He then went on to earn his Masters degree at Ohio State University, where he met his beloved wife, Conchita. He was a senior computer specialist for Ohio State University Systems for more than thirty years and continued to support OSU after retirement. He was a loving husband to Conchita Beaton for 36 years. He will be missed by sister-in-law, Dolores Lam, her husband, Yiu-Fai Lam, niece Lisa Lam Park and nephew David Lam as well as many nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends on Thursday, February 6, 2020 from 3 pm until time of the funeral service at 4 pm at the O. R. WOODYARD COMPANY NORTHWEST CHAPEL 2990 Bethel Rd. Columbus, Ohio 43220.
