Ronald Lewis, of Columbus and Baltimore, Ohio, lost his final battle on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, at his home, surrounded by the people who loved and adored him. Born March 18, 1943, Ron was no stranger to challenges. However, he never allowed them to define or hinder him. He was a true fighter who faced all of life’s trials with resiliency, strength, and a spirit that could not easily be broken. Ron had a zest for life and enjoyed many things, including his beloved dogs, hunting, fishing, and playing pool. And, of course, he loved him some Vegas! Those who knew Ron will remember his hilarious banter, unique personality, his fighting spirit, and the many memories he created along the way. Ron was the true epitome of a fighter. Even when life presented him with difficult battles, he continued to push forward and live life on his own terms as much as he could. Ron was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Patricia (Crum) all of his siblings, including Jimmy Phil and Patty Kovinchick. He leaves behind his children, Phil, Sherri, Missy, Mindy, Midge, Mandy, and Nicky, as well as his grandchildren Rachel, Jessica, Joshua, Jordan, Javon, Aaron, Dante, Tyler, Stephen, Logan and Danielle and the late Jason and James. As well as his great-grandchildren. Ron will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. His memory will live on through the stories, laughter, and countless memories shared by the people whose lives he touched. Rest easy, Ron. Your fight is finally over.

Friends and family are invited to attend a visitation on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, from 11:00 AM until time of funeral service at 1:00 PM at O. R. Woodyard South Chapel 1346 S. High St. Interment Mifflin Cemetery.
