Ronald James Robison, age 74 passed Tuesday, July 3, 2018. Born June 28, 1944 in Columbus, Ohio to the late James and Mary Robison. 1962 graduate of Columbus South High School. Ron served in US Air Force and graduated from Air Traffic Control Academy in Oklahoma City, OK. He retired from Port Columbus as an air traffic controller with the Federal Aviation Administration after 30 years of service. He was preceded in death by his brothers Jerry and Rick. He is survived by his wife Marti of 28 years; son Brian (Tiffiney); daughter Tricia; stepchildren Jennifer (Randy), Matt (Tien) White, Brad (Amanda) White; grandchildren Meghan, Gage Wise, Tatum Wise, Preston, Wesley, and Bethany White; beloved dog Bo. Ron enjoyed going to the Groveport Recreation Club and socializing with his many friends and "The Liars Club". Ron was a world traveller and taking vacations with his family. He enjoyed researching his family genealogy, was a big fan of Ohio State football and attended the Rose Bowl in 2010 with his son Brian. Tremendous appreciation to the staff of Select Specialty Hospitals and Mount Carmel East Hospital for their attentiveness and kindness. Family will receive friends Saturday, July 7 from 10:00am until time of service at 12:00 noon at Lithopolis United Methodist Church N, 80 Market Street, Lithopolis, Ohio. Pastor Charles Martindale officiating. Burial will follow at Lithopolis Cemetery. If desired, contributions can be made to American Heart Association in Ron's memory.
