Ronald David Stambaugh, age 71, life long resident of Groveport, passed away Monday, June 6, 2011 at his residence. Life long farmer and owner of Stambaugh & Son Excavating Company. Preceded in death by parents John and Margaret Stambaugh and sister Ellen Guy. Survived by children, Peggy Stambaugh, Brenda (Mark) Lucas and David (Kelly) Stambaugh; grandchildren, J. D. and Ashley, Leah and Aaron Lucas, KayLeigh, Ronnie, Cody and Wyatt Stambaugh; great-grandchildren, Braylen and Ava; brother, Frederick "Duke" Stambaugh; sister, Fran (Tom) Painter of Tennessee; long time companion, Emma "Jean" Phillips; numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday, June 9 at the MYERS-WOODYARD FUNERAL HOME, 587 Main Street in Groveport, where the funeral service will be Friday 11 a.m. Interment Obetz Cemetery.
