Rose Marie (Duty) Staten, age 86, passed away Saturday July 13, 2024, at her home. Rose Marie was born on May 29, 1938 to the late James Albert and Sophia (Whitt) Duty. Rose Marie is preceded in death by her husband, Jack Staten of 41 years. Sons, Roger Dale, Johnny Ray, and Pete Staten; brother and sisters, James, Sarah, Josephine, Arminda, Polly and Wanda. She is survived by her children, Jack (Laura) Staten, Danny (Robin) Staten, Carol (Douglas) McGee, and Dorothy (Jimmy) Bennett; 25 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren, sisters, Brenda, and Margaret; brothers, Hiram, Eugene, Ronnie, Jerry, and Keith. Many nieces, nephews, and friends. There will be a graveside service for Rose Marie on Friday July, 19, 2024 at 1:30 pm at Obetz Cemetery. Pastor Ronnie Duty officiating.
