Rosemary McElligott, 84, of Columbus, Ohio, died January 13, 2014. She was born in Northampton, Massachusetts on June 10, 1929. Awarded a BS in nursing from College of St. Rose, Troy NY, September 1950. Her nursing career spanned four decades in four states finally retiring from The Ohio State University. Rosemary had a life time of volunteer service to others including patient mentoring at the state hospital, tutoring at North Linden Elementary, Meals on Wheels, Columbus Literacy Council and was a long time member and volunteer at St. Brendan's Church. She loved to sing and was a member of several choirs. Preceded in death by husband James M., brothers William Welch, John Welch. She is survived by three children, James T. (Ann) McElligott, Kathleen M. (Fritz) Goss and Michael W. McElligott; four grandchildren, Megan I. (Lenny) Meyer, Colleen S. McElligott, Daniel A. Goss and Nora R. Goss; two great grandchildren, Griffin and Fiona Meyer; and sister, Margo Quinlan. Visitation will be held Saturday, January 18, from 9:30 a.m. until the time of Christian Burial Mass at 11 a.m. at St. Brendan Catholic Church, 4475 Dublin Rd., Hilliard, OH 43026. Rev.
