Roshad K. Gomer was born on October 8, 1977, in Columbus, Ohio, to Charles Gomer and Roxanne (Ray) Isaiah. He was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses on October 5, 1991 and has faithfully served as an elder in the Eastgate Congregation. Roshad was employed by the State of Ohio for 10 years where he worked in the International Registration Plan Unit. gix

He is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Rolanda Denise Gomer; his parents, Charles Gomer and Roxanne (Gabriel) Isaiah; his sisters, Reylicia Gomer and Chasrah (William) Barnes; his in-laws, Darrell and Denise Pace; his sister-in-law, Paula Pace; his nieces and nephews, Alonna, William IV, Yeshyia (Tyler), Annyston, Stevie, Hendryx, and Talmadge; as well as a host of beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives, and friends.

Roshad also leaves behind his longtime childhood friends, Kristion Cox and Antoine Rahaman, along with many dear friends whose lives he touched throughout the years.

Roshad was known for his mild temperament, caring nature, and willingness to help others. He was often the life of the gathering and never hesitated to lend a helping hand. He deeply loved serving as an elder and treasured working alongside his longtime friends in the congregation.

Outside of his ministry, Roshad enjoyed playing basketball and watching sports throughout the year. He maintained close relationships with his family and friends and made a point to spend quality time with those he loved. His kindness, loyalty, and joyful spirit will be remembered by all who knew him.

He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.

Memorial service will be held Thursday, July 30, 2026 at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1555 College Avenue, Columbus, Ohio 43209. Visitation from 11am - 12pm and Memorial talk will begin @ 12pm. Information for Zoom is below:
