Caracofe Roy M. Caracofe, age 73, passed away February 2, 2016. Born January 29, 1943 to the late Weldon and Edith "Mae" Caracofe in Bath Co., VA. Roy loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing with family and friends. Retired from ALL Crane and worked at Buckeye Steel for over 15 years. He is preceded in death by sister Emma "Chris" Dean and brother Weldon "Bud" Caracofe. Roy is survived by wife of 53 years, Sandy Caracofe; children, Greg (Mary) Caracofe, Todd (Charva) Caracofe, and Stephanie (Rodney) Horner; grandchildren, Philip, Luke, TJ, Brandon, Bryan, Kayla, and Candace; great-granddaughter, Natalie; sister, Edna Dean; many other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held Friday, February 5, from 4-8 p.m. at Shadeville Church of God, 4800 Lockbourne Rd., where funeral service will be held Saturday at 11:30 a.m. Interment Fernwood Cemetery.
