Russell "Pat" Tope passed away unexpectedly on December 20, 2021 at the age of 59. Pat was born in 1962 in Columbus, Ohio to Russell "Ted" and Phyllis "Darlene" and was the youngest of five children. He graduated from Hamilton Township High School in 1980 and was well known for his athleticism. He will be remembered for his love of sports as well as his role in Tope Enterprises. He excelled in wrestling and went on to help coach the HTAA wrestling team. But most importantly, he will be remembered for his kind and loving heart. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him, including his dog, Destiny. Pat is survived by his loving mother, Darlene Tope Partridge; wife, Lorna (Fannin) Tope; children, Ciara and Nathan Tope; grandchildren, Reyah and Teddy Tope; brothers, Jeff (Penny) Tope of Athens, Ohio and Greg (Renee) Tope of Sarasota, Florida. He is preceded in death by father, Ted Tope, son, Jordan Tope, and sisters, Mary "Mel" and Mary Frances.
