Ruth Ann Robertson, age 86, passed away Monday August 19, 2024. Ruth is preceded in death by her mother Evelyn Petty; brother, William Petty Jr.,: sisters, Dorothy Snyder, Carolyn Blackburn. She is survived by her children Cindi (Pete) Alsko of Virginia, Arthur (Beth) Robertson II of Westerville, and Michael (Anna) Robertson of Ashville, Ohio; grandchildren, Lucinda Giroir, Anthony Robertson, and Jasmine Robertson; 5 great grandchildren; 6 nieces and nephews. Ruth was retired from the Ohio Bureau of Employment Services. After her retirement she volunteered at Dodge, Marion Franklin, and Obetz Senior Centers. She loved to travel, and traveled all over the world. Ruth was a hard worker and her family always came first. Visitation for Ruth will be Friday, August 23, 2024 from 11 a.m. until time of funeral service at 1 p.m. at the O.R. WOODYARD CO. South Chapel, 1346 S. High St. in Columbus, OH. Pastor Jay Schlenker officiating. Interment will follow at Green Lawn Cemetery, Columbus, OH. In lieu of flowers, family encourages memorial contributions to the Alzheimer's Association.
