Ruth Renee' Shoaf, age 56, of Columbus, Ohio was called home unexpectedly on Monday August 25, 2025. Ruth was born in Columbus, Ohio on January 30, 1969,  to the late James and Sandra Monk, as well her parents, Ruth is preceded in death by her son, AJ. She is survived by her daughter, Chelsea; grandchildren, Za'Ryah, Demitris Jr., Zhier, Jaleiah, Ayden, Royal, and Clyde; Siblings, Yvonne Monk, Billie (Larry) Karshner, Sherry (Rick) Rich, Janice Vargo, James (Marika) Greene; special nieces, nephews, and friends; Kelly Brown, Dre' Monk, Paradyce Muncy, and Joshua Touvell; many other nieces, nephews and friends who she loved so much. Ruth was a loving mother, sister, aunt, and friend, but most importantly of all she was a grandmother. She will be dearly missed by all who crossed her path. Visitation for Ruth will be on Tuesday September 2, 2025, from 11:00 am until time of service at 12:00 pm at O.R. Woodyard Co. 1346 South High St, Columbus, Oh. 43207.
