Ruthie Ellen Farley age75 of Columbus passed away December 1, 2022. She was born October 2, 1947 to her parents the late, Gilbert and Goldie Alley in Columbus, Ohio. Retired from Simmons Mattress Co. She was a longtime member of Cross Roads United Baptist Church. She was a devoted and loving wife to her husband, Monroe who preceded her in death. she was one of 4 children and preceded by brother, Thurman Alley, William Alley, and sister, Rose Buzzard. Survived by a special nephew, Robert "Robbie" Buzzard and Cory Cole; Very special friends, Rosemary Maynard, Thelma Derefield. Many other family and friends. A Visitation and service will be held Thursday, December 8th at the O.R. WOODYARD CO. CHAPEL, 1346 S. HIGH ST. from 11 AM until time of service at 12 Noon.
