Sandra Kay Folk, age 78, passed away on August 10, 2025. She was born on November 9, 1946 in Saginaw, MI to Tracy and Marjorie (Beeker) Ellis and grew up in Marion, IN. After high school, she earned her BS in Education at Indiana State University and then later earned her MA in Special Education from the Ohio State University. This led to Sandra working as a teacher for the Columbus Public Schools, retiring after 30 plus years of service.

Sandra enjoyed gardening--tending to her tomatoes and flowers, puzzles, and sending greeting cards.

Sandra was a woman of faith who loved her church families--she even met her husband of 46 years in Sunday School. She lived and grew in her faith 'til the end.

Sandra is preceded in death by parents, W. Tracy and Marjorie Ellis, her husband of 46 years, David Folk. She is survived by her daughter, Mary Kay (Eric) Pohlschneider; sister, Bonnie Driggers; brother, Tracy (Cathy) Ellis; and special friend, Eileen Baesmann.

Visitation will be held Monday, August 18, 2025, from 11 am to the time of service of 1 pm at Pfeifer Woodyard Funeral Home, 7915 East Main Street, Reynoldsburg, Ohio, with Pastor Eric Pohlschneider officiating. Burial will follow at Glen Rest Memorial Estate.
