Sandra "Sue" Harmon (nee Massie), 86, of Columbus, passed away peacefully on April 22nd, 2026, in Grove City, Ohio. Sandra was born on February 29, 1940, in Hamden, OH to the late Glendon R. Massie and Ida M. (Humphrey) Massie. She was affectionately known as Sue to family and friends and always enjoyed joking that she was technically only in her twenties because she was a leap year baby.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 67 years, Tom Harmon; her son, Thomas Michael Harmon; and her daughter, Lisa Harmon, along with sister Carolyn Canterberry, brothers Wayne, Bob, Dennis, and Jeffrey Massie; and many brother's and sister's-in law, nephews, nieces, and special friends Eileen Wray and Phyllis Fellure.

Sue was a strong, independent woman with a soft-spoken and graceful nature. She carried herself with elegance and class and was known for her kindness and compassion.

She had a lifelong love of beauty and care for others, reflected in both her work and personal life. Sue owned and operated Designs By Sue floral shop, in Obetz, Ohio. She also co-owned Tommy's Carryout, worked as a realtor, and concluded her professional career with the Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS).

Her love of flowers and gardening was a defining part of her life. Her home in Columbus was beautifully landscaped with carefully tended flower beds, reflecting the same care and artistry she brought to everything she did.

Sue was an avid reader and a familiar face at the Columbus Metropolitan Library, where she visited regularly and could recite her library card number from memory. She also loved traveling, crafting, and was a season ticket holder for CAPA Columbus for many years.

Sue was a faithful Christian and a devoted member of Heritage Freewill Baptist Church in Columbus, Ohio. She devoted her life to taking care of others, always placing family first and offering strength, comfort, and steady support to those around her. Her presence was a constant source of love and stability.

She is survived by her daughter, Pamela (Paul) Marshall; her grandchildren, Jeff (Summer) Marshall, Zach (Lindsey) Marshall, and Brooke Marshall; her great-grandchildren, Elijah, Sienna, and Myles Marshall; sisters Glenna Piotrowski (Rich) and Joyce (Levi) Byler; brothers Mac, Tom, Jack, and Kent Massie; brother's-in-law Dewey Harmon and Palmage Hall (Dawn); sister-in-law Bettina Harmon; beloved former brother-in-law Kenny (Caroline) Ferguson; several nieces and nephews and adored friends Lynn Grotsky and Dianne Gallaugher.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, May 2nd, 2026, from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. at the O.R. Woodyard Co. South Chapel, located at 1346 S High St, Columbus, OH 43207 for all those who would like to share in Sue's legacy of love and devotion with her family and friends.
