Saundra aka Sandy (Eldridge) Rose, age 70 passed peacefully on April 4, 2024 at Mt Carmel East Hospital.  She was born in Charleston, W.Va on September 3,1953 to the late Warren Eldridge & Martha (Shaffer) Lanane. After moving to Ohio she graduated from South High School in 1972 and worked at N Wasserstrom & Sons where she developed life long friendships. After retirement she volunteered at Tarhe Elementary in Lancaster, OH where she also developed many friendships.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Bill Rose, in laws Roy & Ruth Rose, Leonard (Shorty) & Gladys Soulier, sister in law & brother in law Rita & Tom Newman, nephew Tommy Newman.  Survived by daughter & son in law Melissa & Glen Ritchie of Lancaster, OH, granddaughter Hallie Ritchie of Lancaster, OH, sisters & brother in laws Kay & Jerry Clark of Groveport, OH, Tonia & Jim Haferkorn of Menasha, WI, brother & sister in law Gerald & Pat Eldridge of Columbus, OH, bonus daughter Glenda Woodgeard of New, Plymouth, OH, bonus grandsons Lane & Jayden Woodgeard of New Plymouth, OH, special friends Dick Traphagen, Phyllis Howard, Phil Arbaugh, Linda Ritchie, and many nieces, nephews, cousins & friends.  A special thank you to the exceptional nurses at Mt Carmel East Hospital ICU unit. Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 9, 2024, 5:00 pm until the time of service at 7:00 pm at MYERS-WOODYARD FUNERAL HOME, 587 Main St.
