Sean Robert Bowen, of Etna, Ohio, age 52, passed away peacefully on April 7th after a long and courageous battle with cancer. He is the son of Robert D. Bowen (Predeceased) and June L. Bowen (Semetkoski) of McMurray, PA.

He is survived by his ex-wife Lisa Bowen (Donati) and his adoring children, Maddox, Avary, Gannon, Kaiya, and Charlie, as well as his siblings, Robert Bowen (Predeceased), Barbara Dallas, June Davis, Diane McDavid, David Bowen, Patrick Bowen, Cristine Bowen and Erica Bille.

He was a music enthusiast with an encyclopedic knowledge of rock and pop music, an aspiring musician, a frequent concert attendee, an avid Pittsburgh sports fan, movie buff, master storyteller and practical joker. He loved history and space science. He never knew a moment where humor wasn't appropriate, as he always found a reason to laugh, joke and make others find a reason to smile, even in the waning weeks of his life. He brought joy to and enjoyed his time with his many nephews and nieces, long-time friends and coworkers. He leaves behind a legacy that will be fondly remembered and that will long endure. As he once said, "The road was long, unfortunately, it was not long enough." He will be greatly missed by the many souls he touched during his lifetime.
