Sgt. Cristian Salvador Gonzalez, age 36, passed away suddenly Saturday, Aug. 3, 2013. Retired from the U. S. Army where he proudly served as a combat medic in Iraq. Survived by wife, Heather; sons, David Cook and Ryan Gonzalez; mother, Arelis Leiva; sisters, Digna Diaz, Consuelo Leiva, Amy Leiva and Stephanie Leiva; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends including his brothers and sisters in arms. Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 8 at the O. R. WOODYARD CO. CHAPEL, 1346 S.
