BUSH 1950-2017 Shannon Hugh "Bub" Bush, age 67, passed away August 7, 2017 early in the morning against his long battle with cancer. He was born March 25, 1950 to his parents the late Elva W. and Dorothy Harter Bush in Shadeville, Ohio. Hamilton Township High School graduating class of 1968. Started working at Fishers Greenhouse when he was a teenager went on to work at Buckeye Steel Castings ending there as a draftsman then going to work at Marks Tractor/Dravo Marks to work as a heavy construction mechanic working on cranes and big machinery. After Dravo Marks pulled out of Ohio he went to work for All Crane and Rental Corp. as a Service Manager also a Service Manager at the Crane and Tractor Company Inc. then a Service Manager position for the McClean Company that posed a challenge for him by having paving equipment. He eventually left the McClean Company and went back to the Crane and Tractor Company Inc. and retired from there. He put 52 years into social security by working so many years and so hard. He was a very hard working dedicated individual. Shannon also was a Hamilton Township Trustee for 25 years and served as chairman of the board for many years. Past President of the Hamilton Meadows Civic Association with a past vote being taken to make him a permanent member of HMCA for all of his hard work and donations. He served as a Boy Scout Troup leader and made many decorations and props for the events. Loved the Township and our Community and would do anything to help. Survived by loving wife of 49 years, Janet (Adams) Bush; son, Chris (Leisa) Bush; daughter, Tami (Ron) Peters; grandchildren, Katrina Pack, Amanda (Tessa) Peters, Bo (Alisha) Peters, Camron Peters and Erica Shannon Bush; great granddaughter, Zella; brother, Danny (Sharon Varney) Bush; sister-in-law, Sharon (deceased brother Mike) Bush. Leaving behind many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Family and friends may call at the Shadeville Church of God, 4800 Lockbourne Rd., Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. where the service will be held Friday 11 a.m. Pastor Mike Nichols officiating.
