Sharlene took great pride in graduating from Belfry High School, when she was 16 years old, class of 1955! She then married Bill Crigger and began raising their family. Along with their own children, Sharlene was "Mom" to a village of children! She was the AVON lady, sold Sara Coventry and Tupperware. Whatever she needed to do to make an honest living, but be able to stay with her kids! She was head of PTA, Foster Mom, "Neighborhood Mom" a "Homeschool Mom" a "Favorite Aunt" then later was the role of "Grandma" to many others besides her own! She was "Grandma Sharlene" to all of the BalletMet kids back in the day. Enjoyed volunteering at the theater & at BalletMet, raising a garden, thrift store shopping, going to yard sales to look for a bargain, eating snacks with Boba (Or feeding Boba her food she didn't want to eat), & watching Law & Order. She loved Butterflies, blue fan tale guppies, & baby feeding the birds or any little creatures, paisley print anything, but most of all…Playing with all of her kids, getting baby snuggles, and hearing children's laughter. She devoted her whole life to taking care of others, sick or well, young or old, hers or not, and she fed everybody, loved everybody, and never met a stranger! Anytime anyone needed anything, had a problem, or was hurting in anyway, she was right there fixing whatever she could. Her smile could light up a room, her laughter was contagious, and even when she was sick, she was always joking with people to make them laugh!
She will be missed greatly by all that knew her!
