Sharon Lynn Vinion (Kellis) peacefully passed away on October 6, 2024, surrounded by her loving family after a courageous decade-long battle with dementia. She was born on August 27, 1953, in Greenfield, Ohio, to Mamie "Libby" Elizabeth and Floyd Charles Kellis. She was the 14th of 15 children.

Sharon spent her childhood alongside her many siblings, fostering the deep bond they all shared. At a young age, Sharon gave birth to her first daughter, Dianna, whom she selflessly placed for adoption, but was later reunited with. She graduated from McClain High School in 1972, then spent her early adulthood around Hillsboro and Washington Courthouse, Ohio. This is where she formed a lifelong friendship with Kathy "Gunner" Gray, who affectionately gave her the nickname "Burl." In 1977, she welcomed her son, Joey Vinion. Throughout these formative years, Sharon faced many challenges, yet it was also when she found her faith in Jesus. This newfound love and passion for God would lead her throughout the rest of her life.

Later, she moved to Columbus, Ohio, where she worked as a waitress at TeeJay's. It was there that she met her husband of 32 years, William "Bill" Wilson. In 1986, she began her career at L Brands, where she dedicated 30 years of service. In 1989, she and Bill welcomed their daughter, Elizabeth.

Her children were her everything and she wholeheartedly dedicated herself to providing for them in all aspects of her life. Sharon held a profound love for all her family, friends, and pets. Her chihuahua, Sherman, was uniquely special and their bond brought her immense joy and companionship.

Sharon was known for her vibrant personality and ability to connect with anyone she met. Though she was small in stature, her spirit was larger than life. A true social butterfly, she lit up every gathering with her energy, often dancing to classic rock and declaring, "Let's Rock n Roll!" She loved hosting celebrations, where friends and family came together to create lasting memories. Her passions included clothing, jewelry, shopping, and interior decorating. For 25 years, summers at Deer Creek were a highlight, filled with lazy days by the pool and lively euchre games with friends.

Sharon's legacy of love, faith, and joy will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her. She will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her three children, Dianna (Gregg) Hawes, Joey (Stephanie) Vinion, and Elizabeth (Ryan) Middleton, as well as her stepdaughter, Dee (Rick) Harruff. She leaves behind two sisters, Ruth Kellis and Teresa Elder, ten grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, Mamie and Floyd Kellis; her husband, Bill Wilson; her siblings, Dorothy Murphy, Floyd "Junior" Kellis, Willard Kellis, Patricia "Pat" Henry, Leona Perry, Terry Kellis, Stella "Christina" Buhrts, William "Billie" Kellis, Katherine Kellis, Mary Francis Ausman, Ronald "Ronnie" Kellis, and John Kellis; stepdaughter, Carol Wilson; as well as a grandchild and other nieces and nephews.

A visitation to celebrate Sharon's life will be held on Friday, October 11th, from 4 to 6 PM, followed by a service from 6 to 7 PM at O.R. WOODYARD Co. Funeral Home, located at 1346 S High Street, Columbus, Ohio 43207.
