Shirley Ann (Douds) Pellior, of Groveport, passed away in her home on Friday, March 28, 2025. She was born on April 25, 1947 in Steubenville, Ohio, the daughter of John and Pauline (Firm) Douds.

Shirley was a graduate of Milligan College in Tennessee. A retired teacher of 42 years, she devoted her life to Christian education. Shirley was a founding member of Madison Christian Church and School. She was a piano teacher, a card player, and a chocolate connoisseur. Shirley was married to Tom, the love of her life, for 56 years. She was a gentle and quiet soul.

Preceded in death by her father John Douds.

She is survived by her loving husband Thomas Pellior, her son John Pellior and wife Danielle Taylor, her daughter Kristin Ray and husband Robert Ray, her grandchildren Lily Pellior, Jonathan Pellior, Andrew Ray, Daniel Ray, and Hannah Ray, her mother Pauline Douds, her brothers Tom Douds, Jeff Douds, and sister Lisa (Douds) Rex, as well as many nieces, nephews, former students, and friends.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at noon on Saturday, May 10, 2025 at Madison Christian Church 3565 Bixby Rd in Groveport, OH 43125.

Visitation will be from 10:00 until 12:00.
