Shirley L. Throne, 90. Passed away peacefully on Monday, May 12th, at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus Ohio, with her daughter and son by her side. Shirley was born on June 5th, 1934, in York, PA. Shirley worked at Owen Insurance and McCroy's (In the office). Before that she was a stay-at-home mom. Shirley is survived by her daughter, Kimberly of Columbus, Ohio and son, Brett (Cindy) of Columbus, Ohio; sister, Shanna Hilbert of Ft. Wayne, Indiana, and by many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Treva Kraft and by husband Donald, which she was married to for 57 years. She will be dearly missed. Burial for Shirley will be held at the Canadochly Cemetery (4845 E. Prospect Road) next to the church in Delroy, PA on Thursday May 29 at 10:30am with a memorial gathering for friends and family to celebrate Shirley's life.
