Shirley Rosetta Turner (Woods-Kitchen), age 86, passed away Sunday, September 15, 2024. Resident of Louisa, KY. She was a loving and caring mother and will be missed by all. She made all her children and grandchildren quilts with her own loving hands. She was an advid seamstress. She worked at Cuthbert's Greenhouse for 13 years. She sang bluegrass gospel with her sisters as the Woodettes for many years. She enjoyed canning and gardening on her farm in Kentucky along with caring for her two horses Sky and Miss Priss. One of her most beloved accomplishments was being featured on the front cover of a Gardening Magazine. Preceded in death by her husbands, James A. Kitchen Sr. and Harold R. Turner; daughter, Carolynn S. (Kitchen) Bostic; her parents, Zeal and Alma Mae Woods; siblings, Patty Woods, J. L. Woods, Barbara Kitchen and Mary (Davis) Gore. Survived by daughters, Jamie (Tom Lovely) Kitchen, Kathryn A. Johnson; sons, James A. Kitchen Jr. and Kenneth M. (Tanya) Kitchen; grandchildren, Richard (Tina) Antle, Samantha (John) Savage, Jimmy (Victoria) Kitchen III, Ashley (Jason) Montgomery and Colleen Bostic; great grandchildren, Mattix, Keira, Jaiden, Rylee, Bryson and Ashlyn; siblings, Willia Mae Goins, Joyce A. Berry, Andrew Woods, David Woods and Jackie Brunner; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; special friend and sister-in-law Carolyn Sue Kitchen. Visitation will be Friday, September 20, 2024 at the MYERS-WOODYARD FUNERAL HOME 587 Main Street in Groveport from 11 am until time of the funeral at 1 pm.  Interment to follow in Groveport Cemetery.
