On Monday April 27, 2020 Spring Arabelle Salazar a loving wife and "mother" of two passed away in Columbus, Ohio at the age of 43. Spring was born in Stevens Point, WI on June 18, 1976 to Laura Hill and Thomas Spath. On August 31st of 2007, she married her soulmate, Erasmo Salzar Balleza. Spring was a very kindhearted soul. She was passionate in her belief that everyone deserved to be loved and cared for. When she was younger, she enjoyed nurturing her siblings, watching football with her grandfather, swimming, playing rummy and Yahtzee, and cursive writing techniques. She was involved in 4-H and had a passion for horses. She enjoyed dancing, fiestas, cooking authentic Mexican foods and planning large events. Traveling was something she enjoyed, and Mexico was her favorite destination. Spring lived in Wisconsin Dells for many years where she was a Spanish translator. She helped many people in the community by using her bilingual skills and particularly many children she taught English in preparation for school. Spring was a cancer survivor from a young age. Spring is survived by her mother Laura Hill, sisters: Shea Fuller and her two sons, Shona Ostrum and her two sons and three daughters, Heather Nava-Ditzler (Apolinar Nava) and her six sons and two daughters, Lauramae Keuffer and her daughter and three sons; her brothers: Matthew Jakubiak (April) and their two sons, Kelly Casey (Maria) his two sons, one stepson and three step daughters. She is further survived by her father in-law Jesus Salzar-Martiez (Margarita), brothers in-law Gustavo Salzar Balleza and his two sons and daughter, Jesus Salzar Balleza, and sisters in-law Diana Salazar Balleza (Alejandro) and her two sons and one daughter and Victoria Salazar Balleza. She was preceded in death by her father Thomas Spath, grandmother Arabelle Hill, grandfather James Hill and her aunt Kerry Hill. Memorial service will be planned for a later date.
