Srikanthan Sivasithamparam, 68, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away on August 29, 2026. Born on February 4, 1958, in Mullaithivu, Sri Lanka, Srikanthan lived a rich and adventurous life that spanned multiple continents and touched countless hearts.

His life's journey took him across the globe—living in Sri Lanka, India, Canada, and the United States, with homes in Texas and Ohio. An accomplished individual with a boundless spirit of learning, his path included earning a pilot's license during his time in India. He completed his early education at Centennial College in Toronto, later earned a Master of Science in Computer Science from Madison University on December 3, 2004, and built a dedicated career in IT, serving with the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services (ODJFS).

Above all his professional and personal achievements, Srikanthan was defined by his deep warmth, generosity, and unwavering devotion to his family. He lived to help others without judgment, always going out of his way to lend a hand. A natural fixer and creator, he was constantly working on home improvement projects and caring for his home. He possessed a rare and wonderful gift for bringing joy to a room; his friends will forever remember his hilarious jokes, his infectious laughter, and the unique, expressive mannerisms that made every story he told unforgettable.

Srikanthan is survived by his loving wife, Radha Srikanthan; his devoted son, Dhuson Srikanthan; his elder brother, Suhumaran Sivasithamparam; his younger brother, Sivakumaran Sivasithamparam; and his sisters, Vanetha Vasantharuban and Kanjana Ranjan.

He leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and laughter that will live on through his family and friends forever.

Visitation for Srikanthan will be Thursday, September 3, 2026, from 9 a.m. until time of funeral service at 11 a.m. at the O.R. WOODYARD CO. South Chapel, 1346 S. High St. in Columbus, OH.
