Stanley Irvin Bowen Sr., age 90, passed away Tuesday March 25, 2025, at Riverside Methodist Hospital. Stanley was born on October 22, 1934, in Firebrick, Ohio, Stanley was the eldest son of 13 children to the late John and Mable (Snyder) Bowen. As well as his parents, Stanley is preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, JoAnn Latrica (Brown) Bowen; son, Steven Jay Bowen; daughter-in-law, Valerie Kay Bowen; sisters, Freda Baum, Shirley Walker, Betty Comer, Barbara Comer, Carol Jean Montes, and Brenda Denuit. He is survived by his children, Kathy (Danney) Hayes, Debbie (Ron) Scurlock, Mary Hein, and Stanley Bowen Jr.; grandchildren, Doug (Courtney) Cline, Latrica (Michael) Eaken, Rob (Kimberly) Reynolds, Angel (Eric) Reynolds, Tina (Bill) Riley, Tom Bowen, John Bowen, Savanah Bowen, Lisa (Bryan) Russell, and Michael Coy; 30 great grandchildren, and 34 great great grandchildren, sisteres, Bonnie (Bill) Ohmann, Lois (Doug) Howell, Linda Shaner, Sharon (Robert) Dillard, and Nancy (Harley) Jenkins, brother, John Robert Bowens; many nieces, nephews, and friends. Stanley was a devoted husband and  loving father, he was a hard worker, and loved camping and hunting. Stanley worked for 52 years in Columbus doing remodeling work. Visitation for Stanley will be Friday March 28, 2025, from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at O.R. Woodyard Co. South High Street Chapel 1346 S. High St. Columbus, Oh. 43207, where services will be held Saturday March 29, 2025, at 10:30 am. Pastor Travis Potts officiating. Interment Obetz Cemetery.
