Stanley Allen Snider was born to the late Isaac and Marietta (Truesdell) Snider in Chesapeake, OH on August 11, 1935 and passed away at the age of 89 at his home on Monday, October 21, 2024.

He was a graduate of the class of 1953 at the Cheapeake Highschool. Following graduation Stanley went on to proudly serve his country by joining the United States Army. Once he was honorably discharged he went on to work for and eventually retire from the Buckeye Steel Casting Co.

He has been an active member of the Heritage Free Will Baptist Church since March of 2003.

Stanley is preceded in death by the love of his life, Phyllis P. Snyder who he married on November 25, 1954. To their union the Lord blessed with three sons; Stanley Snider Jr. and his wife Ilona, Joe Snider and his wife Jane, and Bryan Snider.

Also survived by grandchildren; Deana, Nico, Julia, Joey, Bryan A. and Clint; several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and siblings: Isaac Snider "Fuzz" Lee Snider, Jim Snider; step-brother, Roy Snider. Proceeded in death by parents, wife, Phyllis Snider,and family, Minney Snider, Clyde Snider and Lucille Snider.

Visitation will be Sunday, October 27, 2024 from 3PM until time of service at 5PM at the Heritage Free Will Baptist Church, 575 Obetz Rd, in Columbus, OH with Pastor Tim W. Stout officiating. Graveside services will follow on Monday, October 28, 2024 at 12PM at Highland Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 198 Private Rd 1336 in South Point, OH 45680. Arrangements have been entrusted to the O.R. WOODYARD Co. Funeral Home.
