Bailey Stephen Leo Bailey, passed away peacefully and surrounded by family on Saturday, February 27, 2016 after an extended illness. Stephen was born on December 1, 1956 to Noreita and Alva Ray Bailey in Chillicothe, Ohio. He is survived by his mother, Noreita Moore of Waverly; his wife, Brenda Bailey of Circleville; his four children, Stephen (Alysia) Bailey of Circleville, Daniel (Mallory) Bailey of Groveport, Jerry Tipton of Columbus, and Christina Tipton of Circleville; and his siblings, Alva W. (Margaret) Bailey of Columbus, Rosanna (Mark) Root of Lithopolis, Marvin (Gina) Bailey of Groveport, and Michelle (Kevin) Laverty of Upper Arlington. Stephen is also survived by eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He is predeceased by his father Alva Ray Bailey, and sister Dondi Hickman. Visiting hours will be 5-8 p.m. on Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at O.R. WOODYARD CO., 1346 S. High Street, Columbus, Ohio. Funeral service will also be held at O.R. Woodyard Co. at 11 a.m. on Thursday, March 3, 2016. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you drink a beer and relax in Steve's honor.
