Stephen "Steve" Michael Hill, age 60 passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on February 24, 2025. Steve was born on August 21, 1964, in Columbus, OH to Harvey W. Hill and Rosemary Crabtree Hill.

Steve graduated from Groveport Madison Highschool in 1983. During this time, he met the love of his life, Susan Cook. They were married 40 years and have three beautiful children.

Steve was family oriented and very giving of his time. He would do anything for friends and family. Steve was employed by John Eramo & Sons as a pipe layer and heavy equipment operator. He loved that job. He later was employed by the City of Columbus SMOC as a backhoe operator. He retired from the city in 2019.

Steve enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and enjoyed time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his father Harvey Hill; brothers, Brian and Mark Hill; son-in-law, Chad Fields and nephew, Christopher Hunter.

Steve is survived by his wife, Susan Hill; mother, Rosemary Hill, children, Shawn (Sheila) Hill, Lindsay (Dillian) Logan, Stephen (Hannah) Hill; sisters, Carolyn (Scott) Hamilton, Pamela Hill, Tammy (Jim) McCabe, Hope (John) Ripley and Malinda (Del) Molkertin; brother, Phil Hill; grandchildren, Isaiah, Addilynn, Elijah, Stephen, Zion, Aiden, Oakley and Jaxon, many additional nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Friends and family may call from 5:00PM until 8:00PM on Thursday, February 27, 2025, at Parson's Ave. Church of God, located at 3389 Parsons Ave, Columbus, Ohio. Funeral Services will follow at 1:00PM on Friday, February 28, 2025, at Church. Burial immediately following at Obetz Cemetery. Pastor Brice Utt will be officiating.
