Stephen David Wansky, age 64, passed away Friday, December 31, 2010 at Mount Carmel East Hospital. Born September 14, 1946 in Akron, OH to the late Morris and Lilyan Wansky. Graduate of Morristown High School Class of 1964 and Paterson State University in New Jersey, Class of 1968. He served in the U.S. Army and is a Vietnam Veteran. Retired assistant football coach and teacher from Marion Franklin High School and was a loyal Cleveland Browns fan. He also dedicated his time to the Suicide Hotline and Netcare Crisis Mental Healthcare. Survived by special companion of many years, Rena Burnett; siblings, Lee H. Wansky, Mike (Monique) Wansky, and Sue Pahl; nieces and nephews, Allan (Allie) Wansky, Michelle Wansky, Tahara (Jamie) Chatham, Marc (Robin) Michals, Pat (Bill) Munday, and Elliott Matregrano. A memorial celebration will be held Friday, January 7, 2011 at 6 p.m. at the MYERS-WOODYARD FUNERAL HOME, 587 Main St. in Groveport. Please leave online condolences at www.orwoodyard.com.
