DeLong Thomas Franklin DeLong Sr. of Canal Winchester born September 29, 1932 went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 30, 2017. Thomas served in the U. S. Army during the Korean War. He worked for Byers and Hertz for 40 plus years. Thomas is survived by 3 daughters, Daisy Ethel DeLong of Columbus, Diana Jane Bostic (Stanley Sharp) of Columbus and Patricia Ann DeLong of Waverly; son, Thomas Franklin (Abera) DeLong Jr.; 2 sisters, Myrtle Thompson of Hilliard and Esther Childre of Piqua; 1 brother, Clyde DeLong of New Hampshire; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends . He was preceded in death by his parents, George Elmer. DeLong and Daisy Ethel Tufts; sisters, Ethel Marie Broedeck and Anna Maye Hicks; daughter, Jessie Marie Burks.
