Thomas Howard Root, age 57, passed away November 9, 2025, after losing a battle with lung cancer. He was born November 20,1967,  in Columbus, Ohio. Thomas is preceded in death by his father, William E. Root. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Root of 33 years; his children, Ross Root, Dalton Root, and Brenda Root: granddaughters, Cherish Fritts and Salise Root; mother, Jane Root, brother, Bill Root. Visitation for Thomas will be held Thursday November 13th 2025, from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Myers-Woodyard Funeral Home 587 Main S. Groveport, Ohio 43125.
