Thomas Lee Williams, age 59, passed away on February 8, 2025. He was born on July 1, 1965 in Columbus, OH, to Evelyn "Sue" Williams and Roger L. Williams.
Tom loved to be with friends, of which he had many. He was a proud veteran in the airforce and served for 10 years, from 1983 until he retired in 1993. He loved car racing and had won many titles when he raced. In 2010 he was crowned the Columbus motor speedway champion in the compact division. In his free time he enjoyed golfing, bowling, many additional sports and activities. His favorite past time was playing in his Texas Hold'em Poker Club, members of the club will also be serving as paul bearers.
He is preceded in death by grandparents, James (Dixie) Mobley, Thomas (Lina) Williams, and grandfather, Fred Horn. He is survived by his mother, Evelyn "Sue" Williams; father, Roger L. (Lerah) Williams of Columbus; special aunt, Brenda Hunt of McArthur, OH; uncles, Richard "Red", Bobby, and David Williams, all of Columbus; three cousins, John Branson of McArthur, Brian (Dana) Briggs of Florida, many additional family, friends and relatives.
Friends and family can call from 5:00PM until 8:00PM on Monday, February 17, 2025. Services will follow at 1:00PM on Tuesday, February 18, 2025. Interment will take place at Fernwood Cemetery.
