Thone Xayavong, age 83, passed away peacefully on April 2, 2024. He was born in Thailand. He immigrated to the United States in 1980 with his family; Chanh (wife), Somath (son) and his two daughters Ning and Patty.

Thone spent many years working in Engles as a greenhouse caretaker where he retired in 2006. His love for gardening still continued with a garden he would tend to year after year, while loving his mor lum music all day and night.

Thone is survived by his daughters Ning Phommachanh (Kek Phommachanh), and Patty Sims. Granddaughter Autumn Xayavong (Seng) and their daughters (Evelyn and Lydia). He is preceded in death by his late wife Chanh Xayavong and son Somath (Sonny) Xayavong.

Funeral will be on Sunday, April 7th, 2024 at 2 pm at the O.R. Woodyard Co. South Chapel, 1346 S. High St. in Columbus, OH.
