Obituary

On Tuesday, April 22, 2025, Timmie Maynard passed away while inpatient at Licking memorial hospital. He was 66 years old. Born in Columbus, Ohio on January 25, 1959 to the late Billie and Gladiola Maynard. He leaves behind his sister, Dreama (David) Cline of Newark, OH. His Children, Crystal (Darren) Sublett of Waverly, OH, Tabitha (Tony) Skaggs of Lancaster, OH, Kevin Michael (Joann) Queen of Arizona and Billie (Kevin) Heichert of Dayton, OH. He has 14 grand children and 7 great grandchildren. Several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his Mom and Dad, his brother, Jeffrey Maynard and his wife Clara Sue Maynard.

He worked in a lumber yard as a fork lift driver until a stroke left him disabled in 2005. He struggled everyday with the side effects from the stroke and it robbed him of a lot of the things he liked to do (camping, fishing and riding his motorcycle). Even though he was limited in what he could do and what he could say he did not let this get him down. He learned how to overcome. Timmie was a very loyal person and if he loved you he was there for you no matter what doing what he could for you. He suffered a heart attack on Easter Sunday which left him unresponsive. He leaves us with a hole in our hearts that will never be filled. Visitation will be held Saturday, April 26, 2025 from 11AM – 1PM with the funeral immediately following at O.R. Woodyard, 1346 S. High St. with internment to follow at Obetz Cemetery.
