Troy Walters, age 91, passed away Sunday August 23, 2026, at Riverside Methodist Hospital. Troy was born on February 10, 1935, in Bypro, Kentucky to the late Charlie and Edith Walters. in addition to his parents Troy is also preceded in death by his son, Michael Walters; twin brother, Roy, other brothers and sisters, Clarence, Henderson, Charles, Herbert, Estle and Ethel, and Shelby. Troy is survived by his sons, Troy, Steven (Jennifer), and Eric; grandchildren, Shane, Nicole, David and Emileigh; several great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Troy is a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during the Korean War. He was always honest and on time. Troy was a huge Ohio State Buckeyes fan. He enjoyed fishing and watching baseball. Troy retired from CVI, Hilliard. Visitation for Troy will be held Friday August 28, 2026, from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at O.R. Woodyard Co. 1346 S. High St. Columbus, Oh. 43207, where funeral services will be conducted Saturday August 29, 2026, at 2:00 pm.
