SPANIOL Vernon E. Spaniol Sr., age 69, passed Friday, July 19, 2013, from this life and into the loving arms of Jesus. He was retired from General Motors. He is preceded in death by his parents, Evah Jane Fields and John Spaniol. Survived by his children: Anthony (Jenny) Spaniol, Vernon (Patty) Spaniol Jr., Tony Spaniol, Cindy (Larry) Scott, Joan (Mark) Queen, Maureen Barney and John Spaniol; 22 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; sister, Linda (Robert) Shier; special friend Nina Keaton; nieces and nephews. Contributions may be made in Vern's memory to the First Baptist Church, 686 W. Jefferson Kiousville Road, West Jefferson, Oh 43162. There will be no calling hours (as we honor Vern's wishes).
