Obituary

Vickie L. Lytle, 70, passed away peacefully at Grant Hospital on January 29, 2025, in her hometown of Columbus, Ohio, after a lengthy battle with cancer.

Vickie was born on November 18, 1954, to the late Roland L. and Nancy K. Carman. For the past 27 years, she devoted herself to nurturing others at Edward's Creative Learning Center, where her kindness and dedication earned her the love and admiration of many. She made a lasting impact on countless children and their families. Her coworkers at Edward's were like family, and she was loved as a mother, sister, and friend.

Vickie is survived by her beloved daughter, Kristen Lytle, and cherished grandson, Micah Moore, both of whom she spent time with nearly every day. She found joy in watching her grandson play basketball and in growing her collection of all things pig-related.

She is also survived by her brothers, Mitchell (Beth) Carman and Roland Lee Jr. (Heather) Carman, as well as several nieces, nephews, and her ex-husband and dear friend, John Lytle. Vickie will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She wished to be remembered as she was on her best days. May her memory bring comfort to those she leaves behind, and when you see anything with a pig, may you think of her with a smile.

In accordance with her wishes, family and friends will gather for a celebration of her life, with details to be announced at a later date.
