Virginia Alberta Childers, age 94, of Columbus passed away May 5, 2022. She was born May 18, 1927 to her parents, the late Jess and Etta Hall in Nelsonville, Ohio. A member of Pleasant View Baptist Church and the Circleville Church of Christ for many years. She would fondly look back on her time working at Rocky Boots and Timken Roller Bearing years ago, but her loving family was her focus above all else. Virginia was preceded by her husband, Clyde Childers in 1988, 4 siblings Eleanor Korble, Gertie Keiffer, Charlotte Hillyer, and Jess Mathney, grandson, Shawn Kesse and great grandson, Terry Byas. She is survived by her sons, Clyde "Butch" Childers, Greg (Lisa) Childers, Jeff (Lori) Childers, Ricky (Jenny) Childers; daughters, Debi (Butch) Anderson, Wanda (James) Hoffman, Brenda "Sue" Byas, Benita (Richard) Bishop, Charla Childers; sister, Sylvia Hanning; and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, other family and dear friends.
