Virginia Lee "Jenny" Davis, age 71, of Columbus went to be with the Lord on July 17, 2019. She was born January 18, 1948 to her parents, Elijah and Dorothy Newsome Hensley Jr. at Oppy, Kentucky. She was a loving mother, wife, sister and grandmother to her family and she dedicated her love and help as well as working as the church secretary at the Parsons Avenue Church of God where she was a longtime member. Preceded in death by her father Elijah Hensley Jr. and daughter, Querida Messer. Survived by her husband of 51 years, Raymond Davis; son, Kevin Davis; grandchildren, Carson Messer, Aron Messer, Jarett Messer, Myah Messer; sister, Judy Dulin; brother, Donald (Linda) Hensley; Jenny's mother, Dorothy Hensley; great grandchild, Khmari Messer; and numerous nieces, nephews, church family and a host of friends.
