Obituary

Virginia Lucille Hensley, 67 passed away unexpectedly at her home on December 3rd 2024, with her husband, Garry, by her side. Virginia was born on January 20 1957, to Raymond and Winifred Radel in Columbus Ohio. Virginia and Garry were married on July 15, 1978, and they were happily married for 46 wonderful years. In 1981, they were blessed with their only child, Raymond. While raising their son, Virginia worked at St. Leo's catholic school as a teachers aide. Later she moved on to working at Franklin County Board of Developmental Disabilities as a bus driver for the next 15 years when she finally retired. During the beginning of their retirement, Ginny and Garry moved from Columbus to Laurelville Ohio where they blissfully enjoyed the quiet of country life with their dogs and occasional chickens. Ginny was a wonderful grandma, and found such joy in her grandkids. She also was very active with St. John's Catholic Church in Logan, Ohio and was very devout in her faith. She is proceeded in death by her parents, Raymond and Winifred Radel Sr.; her brother, Raymond Radel Jr.; and her sister, Polly Radel.
