Wilbur Bowshier, age 83, passed away on May 5, 2017. Lifetime resident of Columbus with a winter home at Schalamar Creek Country Club in Lakeland, FL. Born June 21, 1933 in Columbus, OH to the late Ernest Bowshier and Dorothy Cossin. Wilbur worked as a Truck Driver for OK Trucking for over 35 years and member of TeamsterUnion 413. Wilbur loved being with his family. He was an avid golfer, loved his OSU Buckeyes and playing bingo. We will always carry his memory in our hearts. Wilbur is preceded in death by daughter, Deborah Rigsby; sisters, Doris Prather, and Eileen Ailiff. He is survived by loving wife of 65 years, Doris Derouaux Bowshier, daughter, Christine (Clarence) McCoy; sons, Larry Bowshier and Kevin Bowshier; 10 grandchildren; and several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and a host of relatives and friends. Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 9 from 6 to 8 pm at O. R. Woodyard Co. South Chapel 1346 S. High St. where funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 1:30 pm. Dr. William L.
