Wilburn Nichols, age 82, passed away Tuesday April 15, 2025, at Violet Spring. Wilburn was born on June 10, 1942, in Floyd County Kentucky to the late Johnnie and Trixie Nichols. As well as Wilburn's parents, he is preceded in death by brothers, John Earl and Bill; sisters, Mary Frona and Mintie; nephew, LeGrand. He is survived by his wife of 55 years Brenda; daughter, Lisa (Jesse); nephews, Andrew and George Carey; nieces, Diana, Pamela, Jenny, and Barbara; special friends, the Ellis family; Jason Evans, Brother Al Newsome, and Janet Minnier. He was retired from Bexley City Schools. He was a deacon at the Little Angel Old Regular Baptist Church. Wilburn never met a stranger, and  he always helped anyone in need. Visitation for Wilburn will be held Thursday April 17, 2025, from 4:00 pm until time of evening church service at 6:30 pm at Little Angel Old Regular Baptist Church 5733 Saltzgaber Rd. Groveport, Oh. 43125, where funeral services will be held at Friday April 18, 2025 at 11:00 am. Pastors Dan Carty, and Bill Smith officiating. Interment Obetz Cemetery.
